Desert Shores Community Baptist Church participates in God’s plan for meeting needs through the development of various ministries that help both our congregation and others in the community. There are many opportunities for you to share your gifts, talent and time. Please review the list of ministries and be prayerful about where God may want you to serve.

Education

This is the educational arm of the church, which includes Sunday School, Nursery, Bible Study, New Members Class, and other classes.

Women

Provides women with opportunities for spiritual growth through various events and activities, while also focusing on building a strong Christian sisterhood.

Deacons

Meets the needs of the congregation and provides support for the pastor.

Business and Finance

Manages the business needs and finances of the church and exercises good stewardship.

Greeters

Provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for all who enter the doors of Desert Shores.

Missionary

Serves Desert Shores and the community through various outreach efforts and initiatives.

Worship

The Worship Ministry is an ever expanding ministry with many different facets including Audio, Video, Streaming, Music and much more!

Nursery

Offered during worship services. The nursery provides a safe and secure environment for children to learn and grow through playing.

Prayer

Prayer Ministry provides intercessory prayer for the pastor, Desert Shores, and the community (James 5:16).

Ushers

Greets, welcomes, and ushers guests at Desert Shores with a friendly and warm disposition.

Maintenance

Maintains care of the church building and grounds.
